Test management skills Required Skills/Responsibilities " Candidate must have at least 2-3 years of IT experience, of which the last 1 year is focused on end-to-end software testing, including creating and executing test scenarios, analyzing, and documenting software defects based on stated requirements and design specifications. " Knowledge of the public sector, specifically state government programs and applications. " Good understanding of interpreting business requirements, system design, and creating compelling test scenarios " Proficiency in at least one test case management and defect management tool. " E.g., Microsoft Test Manager (MTM), HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Quality Center (QC) " End-to-end solid knowledge of SDLC (software development lifecycle) and STLC (software testing lifecycle) in waterfall as well as agile methodology " Must be able to create SQL queries against an Oracle database when necessary to verify business scenarios have been met. " Manage defect creation, tracking, prioritization, and coordinate resolution with the development team and functional leads.
