- Position Summary: The Albertus Magnus College Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling (MAATC) program seeks a full-time faculty member to deliver high-quality learning experiences and education for students in the program.
- About the Program:Our MAATC program, established over a quarter-century ago and still the only accredited art therapy program in Connecticut, was one of the first in the nation to meet the educational criteria for a dual pathway to licensing as a professional counselor (LPC) and clinical art therapist (CLAT), in addition to national board certification as an art therapist (ATR).
- Any additional duties as reasonably required pursuant to the policies of the Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling Program and the Academic Affairs administration.
- Required Qualifications: A registered, board-certified art therapist (ATR-BC) credential is required, along with an appropriate master’s degree and at least three years of post-master’s experience, including a combination of clinical practice and college-level teaching.
