- POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to coordinate the Implementation of the state instructional standards, Districtwide improvement planning process, Adoption of instructional materials, District professional development program, Administration of required statewide assessments, District TAG program, And to serve as an instructional coach/mentor as needed across the K-12 system.
- Skill in leadership and facilitation of work involving colleagues and administrators, including problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Extensive understanding of curriculum, instruction, assessment and staff development requirements under state and federal education laws and regulations.
- Demonstrate an awareness of and sensitivity to multicultural and multilingual values and environments.
- Assist in orientation of administrative staff with regard to federal, state, and district requirements for curriculum, instruction, assessment, and staff development.
