- The Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) is responsible for providing the comprehensive medical-forensic examination adult and adolescent patients reporting a history of interpersonal violence, such as sexual assault or domestic violence, including victims and suspects.
- FNE must function within an environment of crisis involving sensitive issues, often in conjunction with physical trauma, psychological trauma, and substance use.
- Current certification of completion of 40-hour Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) upon hire.
- 16-hour SANE Clinical Skills Lab (CSL training) upon hire.
- The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
