- Under the supervision of the Manager, Community & Equity Initiatives, the Food Access Coordinator assists with program oversight and implementation of state initiatives to address food insecurity and promote healthy food access.
- The Food Access Coordinator is responsible for meeting program deliverables, tracking and communicating key progress updates, providing technical assistance and liaising with YMCA and community partners implementing food access programs, cultivating relationships, and supporting community health through healthy living, social responsibility and youth development.
- Master’s degree in public health, nutrition, exercise science, public policy, or public administration preferred.
- Background in community engagement, advocacy, public policy/affairs, and/or health and social equity.
- Familiarity with research methods, qualitative evaluation, survey software, and assessments.
