- The Field Safety Manager is responsible for coordinating and performing training in all Safety and Health areas; managing safety data sheets; writing Safety and Health programs for approval by upper levels; conducting walk-through inspections; participating in accident investigation and/or emergency response; understanding recordkeeping, life safety, reporting and tracking close call incidents, Divisional safety communications, and other applicable regulations and standards.
- The Field Safety Manager is a field position and will require field visitation no less than four to five days per work week.
- Report directly to the Corporate Safety Director.
- Prepare training programs related to OSHA, EPA, DOT and all other Federal, State and Local regulations.
- The skills required of a Field Safety Manager include the ability to recognize known and predictable hazards associated with the type of work performed.
