- Salary Rate: $41,029.04 – $43,308.20 (based on years of experience) SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Works independently without supervision to process subpoenas served on the department and department staff including Trial Subpoenas, Witness Subpoenas, Subpoenas for Deposition, Jimmy Ryce Subpoenas, Subpoenas for Hearing, Subpoena Duces Tecum for Inmate Records, and Subpoena Duces Tecum for Personnel Records.
- Generates and updates checklists for monitoring compliance of the subpoenas for personnel, inmate medical and classification records and other miscellaneous records to be provided.
- Independently reviews and determine confidentiality of the requested records to determine releasable information through subpoena, initiates contacts with requesting attorneys regarding releasable records.
- Maintains various computer logs that document subpoenas, records, documents, reports and other records and information, including ProLaw. Maintains all subpoena files for the Office of the General Counsel.
