- Idaho National Laboratory’s (INL) Business Management/Fabrications Acquisition group is seeking forward-thinking professionals interested in exploring a career as a Fabrication Contract Specialist
- Perform procurement actions including program advance planning, requirement development, vendor sourcing, solicitation, proposal evaluation, vendor selection, award, administration, delivery, closeout and all associated aspects of the procurement process.
- Knowledge and continual development of skills to support fabrication procurement activities being performed under subcontract including: purchasing or contracting experience, fabrication shop experience, working knowledge of NQ1 and/or working experience with fabrication/construction Quality Assurance Programs, the ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings/specifications, excellent interpersonal skills, and professional experience with negotiation techniques and methods.
- With more than 5,000 scientists, researchers, and support staff, the laboratory works with national and international governments, universities and industry partners to discover new science and development technologies that underpin the nation’s nuclear and renewable energy, national security, and environmental missions.
