- You will anticipate future needs and provide guidance to ensure the External Dosimetry Program at LLNL remains compliant with LLNL policies, DOE Orders, and federal regulations.
- Provide technical leadership, direction, training, and guidance to External Dosimetry staff to ensure high-quality and cost-effective dosimetry services that are compliant with DOE Laboratory Accreditation Program (DOE LAP) requirements.
- Perform project management activities including work and resource planning, safe conduct of work, verification and validation of dosimetry results, evaluation of program performance and customers satisfaction.
- Represent the External Dosimetry Program as the technical contact and organization spokesperson during audits, inspections, and site verifications by internal and external agencies.
- Develop, evaluate, approve, and maintain procedures and technical basis documents for the DOE LAP Accredited External Dosimetry Program in collaboration with the Radiation Protection Functional Area to ensure quality, efficiency, productivity, and compliance.
