- The Executive Director of Facilities Planning, Construction and Facilities supervisors the Director of Facilities Management who is responsible for the day to day operations of the college facilities.
- The Executive Director and the Director of Facilities Management will provide daily support and direction to the physical plant operator.
- Reporting to the Chief of Facilities Planning, Construction and Energy Management, the Executive Director will participate in the development of campus wide planning efforts, including coordination with Commonwealth of MA departments, BHCC students, faculty, staff and with external community stakeholders to produce positive long-term outcomes.
- Core responsibilities include providing technical leadership (subject matter expert) for facilities physical plant including but not limited to: potable water, storm and sanitary sewer, HVAC, electrical, life safety, elevators, exterior envelope and grounds.
- Supervision of facility operations including maintenance, custodial, and contracted services at the Charlestown and Chelsea campuses, and various other off-campus facilities.
