- Under the leadership of inaugural Museum Director Kim Kanatani, an acclaimed arts educator, Langson IMCA aspires to become the epicenter for the appreciation and study of art that emanates from and is inspired by California.
- The Executive Director of Development reports to the Interim Deputy Director, with a dotted line relationship to the Museum Director and the Associate Vice Chancellor for University Advancement.
- Prepare and support the Museum Director and other unit leaders to participate effectively in development activities and prospect appointments.
- Work closely with campus leadership, key faculty, and University Advancement (UA) colleagues to support the Museum Director’s fundraising priorities.
- Supervise the services of a contract grantwriter and work in coordination with the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations to identify opportunities and prepare applications to institutional funders; and when funded, help to ensure contract fulfillment.
