- BASIC FUNCTION: The Executive Chef functions as the direct supervisor for the Prep Cooks and Sous Chefs in the Nutritional Services Department.
- In day to day responsibilities, the Executive Chef will be a working chef with regard to meal preparation and menu planning.
- In acting as a supervisor, the Executive Chef will work in coordination with the Director and Manager to perform annual career discussions, on the job coaching and mentoring, disciplinary actions as needed, timecard management and approvals, and other supervisory duties.
- RESPONSIBILITIES: Helps Director and Manager with menu development, meal and item pricing, inventory management and purchasing of materials/supplies.
