- Performs intermediate skilled technical work performing administrative, enforcement, and technical duties in association with the Cities' MS4 program, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Sanitary Sewer Collection, Tree Policy, and associated City Codes for the Cities of Brainerd and Baxter.
- Performs work under the general and technical guidance of the City Engineer/Public Works Director and Assistant City Engineer.
- Implements the current National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) storm water permits and current Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) permits for the Cities of Brainerd and Baxter.
- Responsible for compliance efforts of the NPDES Phase 2 Stormwater General Permit.
- Inspects construction activities, including grading, storm water ponds and sewers, erosion control measures, and related construction projects to ensure that work is in compliance with applicable local, State and Federal storm water regulations, laws, codes, policies, permits, and specifications.
