- The Water Resources Project Supervisor will carry out the mission of the Environmental Resources Department to protect, preserve, and enhance the environment for the health, enjoyment, and benefit of current and future generations.
- The incumbent provides water quality capital improvement project management, management of the Dakota County Stormwater Program, and supervision to the Water Resources project management team whose responsibilities include, but are not limited to, water resources project management, engineering, Byllesby Dam operations, and possible interns.
- Master's or higher degree in public administration; physical, biological, or earth science; environmental and natural resources management, engineering, planning, environmental health, public health, or a related field AND one (1) year of experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing environmental projects and programs.
- Bachelor's degree in public administration; physical, biological, or earth science; environmental and natural resources management, engineering, planning, environmental health, public health, or a related field AND three (3) years' experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing environmental projects and programs.
- Manage the general operations and activities of the Water Resources Project ManagementTeamincluding,butnotlimitedto, water quality projects for the Capital Improvement Program (CIP), Byllesby Dam operations and project management, and the Stormwater Program.
