- Since HSG’s founding in 2008, our teams of environmental, emergency planning and preparedness, and occupational health and safety subject matter experts have been proudly serving our customer.
- Under the guidance of the Director of Environmental Services, the Environmental Operations Manager will be responsible for leading a diverse group of technical personnel performing a variety of Environmental Operations Activities related to Waste Management (WM), Spill Cleanup, and Environmental Sampling, Analysis and Monitoring (ESAM) directly supporting the NASA Environmental Assurance Branch (EAB) and the NASA KSC contractor community.
- Provide daily oversight, management and supervision of technical staff who perform and execute the environmental operations including waste management, sampling, emergency response and emergency response clean-up, and waste characterization.
- Accountable for the preparation and review of procedures and internal operating instructions, including job safety analyses, in order to establish guidelines for meeting general environmental compliance objectives as it relates to programmatic activities and contractual requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Management, Physical Science, or a related science field with at least 12-15 years of relevant work experience related to Waste Management Operations, Spill Cleanup and/or Environmental Sampling with a minimum of 8-10 years of direct management experience, preferably at a federal facility and/or within the aerospace industry.
