Responsibilities We are looking for entry-level staff to join our Tax Department. As an entry level staff, you will be responsible for following, but not limited to: <ul><li> Prepare various tax returns (1040s, 1041s, 1065s, 1120s), tax extensions and tax projections. </li><li> Organizing tax information . </li><li> Assisting with tax notices and examinations . </li><li> Assisting with tax audits, performing light research projects and monitoring and reviewing financial information. </li><li> Maintain working knowledge of tax software used in office. </li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li> Bachelor’s degree required; master’s in taxation preferred </li><li> Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting </li><li> Possess general knowledge of federal and state tax laws – corporate, individual, trust, gifts, and partnership taxation </li><li> CPA eligibility preferred </li><li> Be able to apply basic accounting principles to engagements </li><li> Have excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li> Be highly motivated and able to work individually and in a team setting </li><li> Have outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills </li><li> Have the ability to multi-task </li><li> Knowledge of CCH Axcess, Sureprep, XCM and Caseware is a plus</li></ul>
