- As a Staff/Project Consultant for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC) geotechnical group, you'll be responsible for geotechnical subsurface investigations related to site civil and landfill design (building foundations, cut and fill slopes, retaining walls, landslides, and pavements), as well as construction materials testing services for real estate, oil/gas, and power/energy projects.
- You will coordinate or monitor subsurface drilling, obtain soil and rock samples, prepare boring logs, develop laboratory testing programs, interpret laboratory data, perform geotechnical analyses and prepare detailed geotechnical reports.
- This role will also include construction materials testing and project duties will include concrete, foundation, masonry and pavement construction testing.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, specializing in Geotechnical Engineering (M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering preferred); 0-5 years of consulting Geotechnical Engineering experience;
