- The Engineering Utilities Technician is responsible for ensuring continued reliable operation and maintenance of critical utility systems (high purity water, steam, compressed gases, etc.)
- Interacts and communicates with the Facilities Engineer and critical utility system users including but not limited to: Production, Production Maintenance, Validation, Calibration and Facilities to relay information regarding the critical utility systems in real time.
- Execute and document preventive maintenance tasks (e.g. filter replacements, oil changes, lubrication, gasket replacement) per the maintenance schedule and applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines.
- Execute and document corrective maintenance on an as-needed basis per applicable SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
- Perform entry level process piping assignments using various materials (e.g. PVC/CPVC, carbon steel, copper, stainless steel) and joining techniques (solvent bonding, threading, compression, soldering, brazing, etc
