- MobilizeGreen seeks conservation-minded Engineering Fellows who want a career training opportunity working with the Upper Mississippi River National Wildlife Refuge of the US Fish & Wildlife Service (“FWS”) to implement its mission working to conserve, protect, and enhance fish, wildlife, plants and their habitats.
- These fellowship positions are part of the FWS’ Maintenance and Infrastructure Fellowship program for diverse participants.
- As a Fellow, you will work with the Upper Mississippi River NWR's Environmental Engineer to perform trainee level engineering or architectural analyses associated with segments of engineering, architecture, physical science, planning or environmental protection.
- The fellow will have exposure to a diversity of work with a diverse group of partners and would work primarily on the Upper Mississippi River Restoration Program which coordinates, develops, designs, and constructs restoration projects across the Upper Miss from the Minnesota River to the Ohio Confluence.
- This program includes outreach and engagement of young adults from underserved communities including but not limited to African American/Black, Asian, Pacific Islander, Native American, Alaska Native, Hispanic/Latino, veteran communities, and people who identify as LGBTQ+ or with disabilities.
