- You will develop plans and provide oversight for conduct of failure analysis, troubleshooting, and evaluation proposed solutions; reporting results to sponsors and senior management.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- For the ND-05: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the ND-4 pay band (GS12 and GS13 equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer or scientist leading, directing or planning software design or development by applying extensive technical knowledge and experience for the support of torpedo systems.
