- The Engineer II – Energy Storage Engineering is responsible for providing subject matter expert engineering support to all phases of the project, including project development, proposals, contracting, design, construction, and operations phases of utility scale energy storage projects.
- Reviews construction designs for conformance with project requirements, integration requirements, and industry best practices, including battery system submittals, PCS submittals, site layout, electrical BOP, civil BOP, and design studies.
- Completes battery energy storage system design and design optimization using standardized processes and tools.
- Reviews equipment/technologies over a broad range of technical disciplines including batteries, HVAC systems, fire safety systems, control systems, electrical infrastructure, balance of system equipment, and non-battery energy storage technologies.
- Collaborates with design managers, electrical engineers, civil engineers, SCADA engineers, and CAD designers for guidance on preliminary designs and deliverables.
