WHAT YOU WILL BE DOINGThe primary purpose of this position is to serve as the agency’s subject matter expert on matters of energy efficiency policy and programs. Additionally, to further the deployment of energy-efficient design and practices in commercial and public (non-residential) facilities in Oregon by providing technical and program services for agency programs relating to non-residential facilities, as well as the design and operation of other public buildings. This position is eligible for a hybrid remote work schedule. The work schedule is Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. The incumbent will be expected to work at the central workplace located at 550 Capitol St. NE in Salem, Oregon, at least eight times per year. This generally includes attendance at pre-scheduled in-person all-staff meetings. The position may also be required to work at the central workplace on a more frequent basis with advance notice, as needed. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR <ul><li>A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, or a degree related to the agency program that demonstrates the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years of experience coordinating or administering a program.</li></ul>-OR-<ul><li>Any combination of experience or education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.</li></ul> The most successful candidate will also have the following skills, experience, and background: <ul><li>Experience developing, administering, monitoring, and evaluating projects and programs.</li><li>Experience maintaining a database, capturing data, updating data, analyzing data, generating reports, and reporting to interested internal and external parties.</li><li>Experience making data-driven decisions and recommendations for process improvement.</li><li>Experience collecting information from various stakeholders, interpreting, and assembling the information, and integrating data with program objectives.</li></ul> Preference may be given to those with the following experience: <ul><li>Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, componentry, of the built environment (e.g. HVAC).</li></ul> Studies have shown that women, trans, non-binary, Black, Indigenous, and other People of Color are less likely to apply for positions unless they believe they meet all the desired attributes.
