- This position shall be responsible for the installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, routine maintenance and programming of non-medical electronic equipment including, but not limited to, audio and visual equipment, communications systems, nurse call systems, nurse tracer systems, pneumatic tube system, food and nutrition equipment, laundry equipment, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems, automatic door operators and other safety and security systems.

- Cooperates with Facilities Manager, Supervisor and other employees to maintain equipment, parts and supplies and makes recommendations to Facilities Manager regarding desired changes in operation and maintenance procedures.
- Keeps informed through periodicals, books, training seminars, on-the-job training and other sources and participates in approved training programs to further job knowledge.
