Opportunity Snapshot: <ul><li>Compensation: $50-54/hour</li><li>Location: Tulsa, OK</li><li>Assignment Duration: 12 months+</li><li>Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+</li><li>Benefits: Comprehensive insurance and 401(k)</li></ul> Qualifications: <ul><li>A minimum of eight years of progressive work experience in electrical, instrumentation & controls is required</li><li>Emphasis on controls engineering and power distribution is required</li><li>Refinery or petrochemical industry experience is preferred</li><li>A minimum of a High School degree or equivalent is required</li></ul> Responsibilities: <ul><li>Develops Engineering Standards for EI&C equipment purchases and installations</li><li>Defines Projects by determining project objectives, selecting technical strategies and providing technical assistance to the business unit(s)</li><li>Plans Projects by writing specifications, developing schedules, and identifying and developing process design of additions and improvement to existing processes</li><li>Oversees construction of EI&C Capital Projects</li><li>Develops project scopes, budgets and AFE’s for approval and ensures projects meet budget as well as refinery and OSHA standards</li><li>Implements Projects by monitoring performance, taking corrective actions, providing feedback to project team such as generating, monitoring, and updating operating procedures and periodical reporting, and negotiating for materials, supplies and services</li><li>Solves technical problems related to projects and troubleshoots and updates report data for business unit(s)</li><li>Upgrades, designs, configures, maintains and monitors related equipment and performance</li><li>Analyzes related components and systems, processes and methods, and refinery processes and economics</li><li>Ensures the maintenance and integrity of business unit(s) data</li><li>Designs chemical plant EI&C equipment and devises processes for manufacturing chemicals and products</li><li>Conducts research to develop new and improved process control processes</li><li>Designs and plans layout for EI&C on a commercial scale</li><li>Determines most effective arrangement of Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls; such as Burner Management, Safety Instrumented Systems, and Power Distribution Equipment</li><li>Investigates and resolves work-in-process problems</li><li>Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion</li></ul> The Bergaila Way: The Bergaila Companies is a nationally recognized leader in providing staffing services to all sectors of the energy industry.
