- About Us: Making Opportunity Count is a non-profit human services agency dedicated to creating positive change and enhancing the lives of individuals and families in Central Massachusetts.
- Supervise MOC volunteers while at kitchen facility; maintain safety and food sanitation procedures; monitor cold pack matrix; organize portioning of daily menu desserts and packaging of cold packs; and communicate regularly with Catering Kitchen Manager(s).
- Site Manager / Kitchen Assistant ensure MOC volunteers and Operation ABLE staff (hosted by MOC Elder Nutrition) maintain and follow all Board of Health sanitation requirements and program standards as well as daily sign-in.
- Site Manager / Kitchen Assistant attend the EOEA sanitation training provided annually by the Nutrition Program Coordinator.
- Daily review of the menu noting the dessert to be portioned and if there is a diet component; set-up portioning stations (daily, supper, and weekend cold packs) for Operation ABLE staff (hosted by MOC Elder Nutrition), MOC volunteers, and/or complete autonomously according to cold pack matrix for respective weekday.
