- The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist will also be responsible for the duties and knowledge in the following areas: Research and interpretation of regulations and design of compliance methods.
- General expertise in environmental compliance including Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA), Oil Pollution Act (OPA), Resource Conservation Act (RCRA), and Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA).
- General expertise in OSHA and MSHA compliance including MSHA Standards, OSHA General Industry Standards, OSHA Marine Terminals Standards, OSHA Construction Standards, OSHA Longshoring Standards, OSHA Recordkeeping Standards.
- Specific expertise on AST Fire Protection, PSM/RMP, Industrial Hygiene, Security (MTSA and CFATS), EHS Training Development, etc.
