We're known for delivering accessible content to a diverse audience passionate about the world of cannabis. We are seeking a highly motivated Editorial Intern with a knack for creating engaging digital content. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our editor to conceive and pitch compelling cannabis-related articles, craft vibrant social media posts, and write SEO-driven content designed to inform and captivate our audience. Key Responsibilities: <ul><li>Collaborate with our editor to generate and pitch innovative ideas for online articles that align with current cannabis trends.</li><li>Assist in planning, scheduling, and posting content across various social media platforms.</li><li>Write and edit keyword-rich articles to improve our organic search visibility and audience engagement, following SEO best practices.</li><li>Monitor digital trends and audience preferences to suggest content optimization strategies.</li><li>Learn and apply the principles of SEO, utilizing tools such as Google Search Console to track performance.</li><li>Maintain and update website content through WordPress, ensuring a seamless user experience.</li><li>Engage with our community online to foster a positive brand image and actively respond to comments and inquiries on social media platforms. </li></ul>Requirements: <ul><li>Proficiency in social media strategy and platforms.</li><li>Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.</li><li>Passion for the cannabis industry and a strong desire to produce educational and engaging content. </li></ul>Preferred Skills: <ul><li>Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing.</li><li>Experience with photo and video editing software.</li><li>Familiarity with WordPress</li><li>Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles.</li><li>Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to rapid changes in the digital landscape.</li><li>Coursework or a degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field is highly regarded. </li></ul>Education: <ul><li>Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an accredited college or university program relevant to journalism, communications, or digital marketing. </li></ul>Commitment: <ul><li>This is a part-time internship with an hourly rate of $18.07 per hour.
