- Job Summary: The Echocardiograph Sonographer will provide Echo imaging services in our Hospital and off site locations as needed.
- Studies performed include 2-D and 3-D echo exams, Transesophageal Echocardiography, exercise and pharmacologic Stress echocardiograms, and also participation in Echo's performed during procedures in the Heart and Vascular Center.
- Opportunities for on-going training and participation in Quality initiatives are available.
- Cardiac ultrasound experience and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International, or eligible required.
- Candidates with cardiac ultrasound experience and who are not RDCS, RCS, or eligible will be considered for appointment to an entry-level (SL1) training position at a commensurate salary, however must obtain registration within 1 year of hire date.
