- The Cardiac Imaging Core Lab (CICL), Directed by Scott D. Solomon, MD, is an academic research organization located within Brigham and Women's Hospital, a Harvard-affiliated teaching hospital adjacent to Harvard Medical School.
- Through close collaboration with academic, NIH, and industry partners, the CICL supports a wide range of activities including echocardiographic study design, analysis, and central core lab operations for primarily large-scale national and international clinical trials.
- Reporting to the CICL Technical Director and working under the supervision of Harvard Faculty Directors, the Echo Specialist is an integral member of the CICL and assists with high-level, complex research including but not limited to echocardiographic analysis and data quality assurance.
- The Echo Specialist will have the opportunity to interact with research collaborators within other Harvard departments and at other institutions across the U.S. and other countries around the world.
- Performs routine reproducibility testing for QA/ QC review by CICL Technical Director.
