- MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIESThe Director of Product Marketing for STAAR Surgical Americas serves as the EVO ICL product leader and customer advocate within the Americas business, responsible for product innovation (inclusive of ICL and accessories), product marketing and management (encompassing launch, pricing, positioning, data/claims, messaging, promotion/education, lifecycle management).
- They own the MD/OD EVO journey, and their intersection with Patient/Practice journey, and develop and lead programming to drive clinical confidence across the clinical HCP audience.
- Product marketing strategy for STAAR Surgical’s clinical portfolio, leading how clinical products are launched, positioned, sold and managed throughout their lifecycle, including forecasting, inventory planning, and consignment strategy.
- Clinical product innovation, working with Global Strategic Marketing to define features and benefits for existing products, and identify opportunities and develop business cases for new products, indications, improvements and partnerships.
- Caretaker of MD/OD journey, understanding the clinical drivers and barriers across the continuum from awareness to advocacy.
