- The Department of Utilities is seeking a Director of Utilities to manage the department which supplies retail water services to Norfolk and wholesale services to Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Portsmouth as well as naval facilities and manages the collection and delivery of wastewater for treatment.
- In cooperation with the organization’s executive leadership team(s), directs the development of an effective strategy to improve the operations of the department, assess and mitigate risk to the regions water and wastewater system, manage crises and incidents, maintain continuity of operations, and safeguards the organization.
- Requires Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
