- The FM Department includes: planning, program management, capital budgeting, project management, energy and sustainability programs, facility operations, maintenance and service, real estate, facility information systems and business administration.
- Reporting to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management, this position is responsible for directing and overseeing all daily operations for campus planning and Facilities Information Systems to align with and support campus development goals.
- The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires its institutions of higher education to prepare long-range plans to determine future needs and guide development of capital outlay for buildings, facilities, land needs, and services.
- This position provides senior support and assistance to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities Management to ensure compliance with this mandate and ensure the effective and efficient operation of the university’s overall planning program.
- Minimum Qualifications (Required): Masters in City Planning, Public Administration, or equivalent, or Bachelors of Architecture (five-year professional degree) or Masters in Architecture or Engineering with planning or urban design focus, and at least fifteen (15) years of professional planning experience.
