- Responsible for identifying market opportunities and developing short and long-term marketing strategies with the objective of attracting overnight and day visitor business from the convention and leisure markets, as well as sets and guides the overall communications strategy for public relations initiatives and overall CVB messaging.
- Uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to drive marketing strategies, including advertising, research, website direction and electronic and database marketing and special promotions.
- Directs the development of domestic and international marketing initiatives, including campaigns, advertising, and other special projects designed to generate convention and meeting attendee and leisure visitor room nights booked in Grapevine.
- Directs the development and production of convention, leisure, festivals, Grapevine Vintage Railroad, Palace Arts Center, Convention Center, Peace Plaza, Grapevine Concourse tradeshow materials and other organizational marketing materials as needed, including but not limited to, Grapevine Today, marketing plan, e-blasts, festival collateral and signage.
- Monitors industry trends and local issues impacting the Grapevine CVB organization and destination marketing work.
