- The mission of Grants & Fiscal Management (GFM) within NYCDOT is to administer, in conjunction with regional transportation agencies, the City’s Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA)-funded projects, NYSDOT and other grantors.
- The candidate will coordinate with various entities to identify suitable projects that meet the detailed NOFO guidelines for final consideration by the Commissioner and Deputy Mayor.
- The Director of Grant Development will also liaison with the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Operations, make presentations to senior NYCDOT executives including the Commissioner of NYCDOT to discuss the merits of different projects under consideration and write the grant application for submission by the deadline set in the NOFO.
- Appointments are subject to Mayor's Office of Management and Budget Approval.
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and two years of satisfactory full-time experience in city planning; or
