- The Director of Facilities Management has the overall responsibility for operations and maintenance of the Dallas Hospital & Clinics.
- The Facilities Management Director serves as the approved Safety Officer of the facility, and directs Dietary and EVS departments, as well.
- Directs activities of Facilities Management to assure the unfailing productions & provision of using areas & department of proper environment, waste treatment, clinical air & vacuum, fire alarm & fire-fighting systems, electrical distribution & emergency provision of all above regardless of external conditions of supply and distribution.
- Assures compliance with regulatory requirements including local, State and Federal regulatory agencies, The Joint Commission (TJC), Department of Public Health (DOH), insurance carriers, and others as needed.
- Maintains external relations including government relations, local, State and Federal regulatory agencies, CMS, TJC, DOH, insurance carriers, and others as needed.
