- The Director of Debt Management and Compliance reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for debt management and compliance needs of the UMass Building Authority.
- Work with campuses and the University President's Office in the development and execution of the University's Capital Plan.
- Work in conjunction with the Deputy Treasurer on monitoring all cash and fund activity, ensuring proper accounting is maintained, including assist in cash transfers & balance maintenance related to payment processing; wire transfers/ACHs; banking correspondence; banking maintenance, and managing the commercial paper program.
- Work in conjunction with Director of Financial Planning and Analysis on development of Authority's operating budget, the annual debt service certificates and development of rates and charges to adequately cover all obligation and preparation of semi-annual campus assessments including the collection and proper disbursement of campus assessments.
- Familiarity with the principles and practices of financial and debt management, including financial analysis budgeting, procurement, federal grants, forecasting, and cash management
