This position will work closely with the department assistant director, and at times the department director, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the public information, creative content and digital media sections of the division, in addition to some internal communication strategies.The Digital and Media Relations Manager will play a vital role within the division and use solid project management skills to collaborate with staff and drive greater awareness of Chesterfield’s programs and services among Chesterfield’s nearly 370,000 residents, while proactively keeping the county’s 4,000 employees informed. Based on the Virginia DMV point system, record must not reflect a total of six or more demerit points within the twenty-four months preceding the anticipated hire date, or one major violation of six demerit points within the preceding thirty-six months.
