- The incumbent of this position serves as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist and is responsible for the technical operation of digital stationary and digital portable roentgenological equipment in conjunction with the taking of routine fluoroscopy and special examinations, and the processing of radiographic procedures utilizing computed radiographic equipment.
- Performs digital fluoroscopy, digital C-arm fluoroscopy in surgical suite, digital portable x-rays in ICU and newborn nursey, etc., and operates teleradiology equipment and any PAC's equipment in the department, and all standard diagnostic x-ray procedures.
- Measles and Rubella immunization required for selectees born after 1957 and seasonal influenza immunization is required for all staff working in Indian Health Service health care facilities.
- l) Persons employed by the Federal Government as radiologic personnel prior to the effective date of the regulation (January 13, 1986) who show evidence of current or fully satisfactory performance or certification of such from a licensed practitioner such as a doctor of medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, podiatry, or chiropractic who prescribes radiologic procedures to others.
- Verifies that exposure indicator data for digital radiographic systems has not been altered or modified and is included in the Digital Imaging Communications in Medicine (DICOM) header and on images exported to media.
