- Radcom is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Medical Physicist to join our growing team based out of Austin, TX. Radcom has additional hubs in Dallas, Houston, and El Paso, TX. - The Diagnostic Medical Physicist will support imaging centers and hospital departments (radiology, radiation oncology, cardiology, OR, etc.)
- The physicist will also evaluate and characterize image quality to ensure imaging equipment is operating at optimal performance levels, and provide consultation to clients regarding facility design, shielding requirements, assessment of supplemental shielding, patient and occupational radiation exposure, etc.
- What You’ll Do Perform routine audits of compliance records related to the equipment registration, regulations, and Radiation Protection Programs.
- Perform annual performance evaluations of radiologic imaging systems (fluoroscopy, radiography, mammography, and CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems, ultrasound, nuclear medicine cameras, etc.
