- The Desktop Virtualization Engineer is responsible for the design, build and operational support of multiple virtual infrastructures across BILH, providing highly available secure access to published applications and desktop for over 25,000 users.
- Responsible for all Citrix and non-Citrix NetScaler load-balancing to include requirements discovery, design proposals and implementation.
- Actively participates in requirements gathering and design for the virtual environment, to include capacity and growth planning, as well as storage allocations and needs.
- Advises on Citrix policy configurations, Citrix related group policies and desktop receiver configurations to ensure a stable, secure and consistent end user experience (essential)
- As the XenApp, XenDesktop, XenServer Subject Matter Expert provides support escalation, technical guidance and mentoring of team members (essential)
