- The Deputy Sheriff patrols and investigates activities, traffic control, crowd control, and public relations, witness interviewing, evidence collection and management, basic crime prevention methods, weapon and equipment operation and maintenance, report preparation, and other routine law enforcement duties.
- Other duties must be performed as assigned by the Sergeants, Patrol/Investigations Captain, Chief Deputy Sheriff and/or the Sheriff.
- Investigates traffic accidents and other accidents to determine causes and to determine if crime has been committed or Motor vehicle laws are violated
- Possess and maintain valid Wisconsin Driver's License that will allow unrestricted performance of Deputy Sheriff duties
