- The DeKalb County Board of Health (DCBOH) Public Health Workforce Initiative aims to increase the public health workforce by providing opportunities for learning experiences and on-the-job training to advance more equitable health outcomes for underserved communities in DeKalb County, Georgia.
- The members' roles and responsibilities will focus on community engagement, health promotion, and support and direct services.
- This is a three quarter-time position, living allowance of $13,110.00, 1200 hours during the service year, 25 to 30 hours per week, and a college graduate is required.
- Works in the program area of adult health (STD, Breast, and Cervical Cancer Program, Family Planning), refugee health, TB, and Ryan White Early Care Clinic, but may also work in child health immunization/travel clinics.
- Assists with weekly and monthly vaccine inventory and performs other duties as needed.
