- This position serves as a Data Analyst (Natural Resource Monitoring) for the Division of Natural Resources.
- Performs standard geospatial analyses at multiple scales to relate land uses to observe vegetative, soil, biological, chemical indicators or habitat condition.
- Qualifying specialized experience includes: preparing graphs and data profiles; entering and retrieving information from databases; analyzing information in order to prepare and organize scientific information for use in reports; utilizing geospatial technologies such as Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS); and using computer systems to perform day-to-day tasks and to record and retrieve data related to scientific activities.
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
