- As a customs expert, you will be responsible for managing specific customs topics such as Duty Drawback and TIB (Temporary Importation under Bond), as well as HTS (Harmonized Tariff Schedule) classification, customs valuation, FTA's (Free Trade Agreements) and TRQ's (Tariff Rate Quotas).
- You will work closely with various (local) stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of customs and trade compliance of our US entities are met.
- You will be responsible for ensuring that all customs regulations are followed and that all trade compliance requirements are met, while seizing opportunites to improve our business, optimize processes and be involved with our US tax strategy.
- As the customs and international trade manager, you will be responsible for the accuracy of import and export declarations, considering classification, valuation and origin optimization.
- You will create the customs part of the indirect tax compliance manual and share the responsibility for maintenance of the manual with the indirect tax manager;
