- Through a team of Customer Service Specialists, they directly serve approximately 32,000 customers in 10 Company-owned operating divisions as well as other separate Municipality owned systems with approximately 9,000 customers served through contract water and wastewater billing services.
- The Customer Service Manager is responsible to direct and assist the Customer Service Department in a customer driven organization; to develop unity, commitment and coordination between the customer side and technical side of the business.
- Ensures the quality of current, new or upgrades to CIS systems delivered by planning, writing and reviewing test cases, coordinating test environment set-up, validating what is tested, documenting test results, follow up on defects to resolution.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of any Customer Service programs, management of the Linebacker program, customer information systems (CIS) through Northern Data Systems and the interface with the general ledger system, currently JD Edwards
