- Under general supervision, to perform a variety of custodial work in keeping assigned rooms, buildings and office space in a clean, neat and orderly condition; and to do related work as required.
- If required on the job, possession of an appropriate California operator's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles; maintain a driving record acceptable for coverage under District vehicle insurance programs.
- A typical way to obtain such knowledge and abilities would be: One year of custodial, janitorial or related work experience.
- Frequently requires ability to walk, bend, stoop, twist at the waist, reach above and below the shoulders, perform neck extension, flexion and rotation, and perform repetitive arm and shoulder motions with moderate exertion.
- Requires the ability to operate and maneuver demanding equipment such as floor polishers and carpet cleaning equipment.
