- Please see below for information on each market: Cultural Resources: Our Archaeology/History Interns are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard techniques and procedures in the cultural resources management industry.
- Responsibilities include assisting with pre-field background research, including identifying previously recorded cultural resources and reviewing maps to assess the potential for unknown cultural resources.
- Interns will also gain experience performing archaeological and historic resources field surveys in a variety of locales, assisting with archaeological site recording, and documenting historic architectural resources.
- Interns are expected to perform fieldwork, which could include overnight travel, walking several miles a day in varying weather and terrain, and digging shovel tests in a variety of settings.
