- GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Cultural Resources Director to direct the Company's cultural resources group.
- The director will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to internal staff and GAI's clientele related to cultural resource management services and will provide mentorship, guidance, and related expertise specific to maintaining quality client services and growing GAI's cultural resource business.
- Directs GAI personnel and subconsultants who are responsible for performing cultural resources investigations, records reviews, archival research, ethnographic research, field surveys, testing, report writing, agency and Tribal consultations and archaeological data recoveries and other activities in support of compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) and related regulations.
- Will often serve as a primary interface between GAI and regulatory agencies (e.g., State Historic Preservation Offices, Federal/State Land Managers, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, etc.)
- MS in archaeology or a related field, and a minimum of 15 years of relevant and broad experience in the cultural resource management and consulting field.
