Shasta Mercy Medical Center – Redding and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital) we offer an integrated care delivery system that provides high quality compassionate care in family medicine internal medicine OB/GYN cardiology and interventional cardiology neurology and neuro-interventional general surgery endovascular surgery and orthopedic surgery including general total joints and spine.
- The CT/Radiologic Technologist position is responsible for knowing his/her professional scope of practice as defined by the California Business and Professional Code and for satisfactorily completing the Dignity Health Medical Foundation orientation period that includes demonstrating skills and behaviors that meet a fully competent level of performance.
- This includes assisting in prepping patients for CT and X-ray examinations relaying instructions from the radiologist to a patient or authorized person and collecting patient data documenting patient concerns patient messages and care provided to the patient in the patient's medical record for the radiologist review and performing diagnostic medical imaging.
- Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program.
- Certification by the California Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CRT)
