- Less than 1 Year of ExperienceCERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION ARRT-CT Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (CT).
- Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT): Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
- ARRT-N Nuclear Medicine Tech (ARRT-N), ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R), Cert Nuclear Med Tech (CNMT): Must also be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography (R) or in Nuclear Medicine (N) or by Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Tech (CNMT).
- Administers contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelinesJOB SUMMARYThe CT Technologist, under general supervision of a Radiologist, performs computed tomography (CT) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients as requested by a physician or other licensed provider for the diagnosis of disease and injury in accordance with established protocols.
